Chromebook Login Issues?

We are aware that some students are having challenges logging into their Chromebooks to access Distance Learning. Here are instructions to help families having difficulties logging in.

As Chromebooks come online after the summer, updates may take time and Step 2 may need to be repeated multiple times. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but appreciate your patience and understanding during this important update process.

Students Use Google to Log into School Apps

For students to successfully log into most school applications, they MUST first log into Google.

This will activate the majority of school apps. Example: StudentVUE, Canvas, etc. (The exception being Microsoft products.)

Directions for logging in

Logging on in one of the ways below “ACTIVATES” school apps to work.

School Chromebook

  1. Turn on the Chromebook
  2. Click “Next” button
  3. Sign in:
    *Student ID
    *Password

Home Computer

  1. Log onto Google
  2. Sign in:
    *StudentID@salemkeizer.org
    *chromebook password

Taking Care of Business Days/Start of School

We are very excited to welcome our Mustang family back on Wednesday, Sept. 16. This first day, students will have a modified schedule and students will be able to work on accessing our learning platform, connect with a teacher and meet classmates. Attendance will be taken on Wednesday, Sept. 16.

We will be providing needed textbooks and supplies on Monday, September 14th to our 6th and 7th graders.  Chromebooks will also be available to those who need them.  However, we will not be retrieving items from last year’s lockers.  A later date will be scheduled for lockers.  For those who cannot make it tomorrow, we will have additional dates scheduled later in the week.

Our first full day of school will be September 17th.  Remember, all students need to attend their advisory class – Mustangs Meet! At 9:00 every day, Tuesday through Friday.

Dia de tramites/Empiezo de escuela

Estamos muy emocionados de dar la bienvenida a nuestra familia Mustang el miércoles, 16 de septiembre.  Este primer día, los estudiantes tendrán un horario modificado y los estudiantes podrán trabajar en el acceso a nuestra plataforma de aprendizaje, conectarse con un su maestro y conocer a sus compañeros.  Se asumirá asistencia el miércoles, 16 de septiembre.

Proporcionaremos los libros de texto y los materiales necesarios el lunes 14 de septiembre a nuestros alumnos de sexto y séptimo grado.  Chromebooks también estarán disponibles para quienes los necesiten.  Sin embargo, no recuperaremos artículos del los casilleros del año pasado.  Se programara una fecha posterior para los casilleros.  Para a aquellos que no puedan asistir mañana, tendremos fechas adicionales programadas mas adelante en la semana.

Nuestro primer día completo de clases será el 17 de septiembre.  Recuerde, todos los estudiantes deben asistir a su clase de asesoramiento, Mustang Meets! Se reúne a las 9:00 todos los días, de martes a viernes.
